Curcumin, Tumeric, Chia Seeds & Fat

The gist is combining turmeric, chia seeds and fats (olive or coconut oil) increased absorption.

I am watching a YouTube video, “Chia Seed Alone Doesn’t Work — Add This to Kill Inflammation” | Dr William ?

Why the Combination Works Well

  1. Turmeric needs fat to absorb properly.
Curcumin (the active part of turmeric) is fat-soluble — it doesn’t absorb well unless eaten with fat.
Olive oil provides the needed fat, improving bioavailability.
  2. If you add a pinch of black pepper, absorption jumps dramatically (up to 2000% more).
So: Turmeric + black pepper + olive oil = effective absorption
  3. Chia seeds help slow digestion, which smooths the release of glucose and fat into the bloodstream.
    This can make the mixture:
    • blood sugar friendly
    • long-lasting in satiety
      (You won’t get hungry fast.)
  4. The fiber in chia supports gut health, which may also enhance how anti-inflammatory compounds are used in the body.

How You Might Take It

For a simple daily version:

1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 teaspoon olive oil
½ teaspoon turmeric
Pinch of black pepper
Stir into water, warm milk, Greek yogurt, oatmeal, or soup.

Or combine chia first in water to gel, then stir in oil + turmeric.
