And then put in shorts & a t-shirt and finally cartooned.
I had lunch at the No. 1 China Buffet on Tuesday.
They have a wide variety of items.
I love the stir-fried green beans.
As you can see, I enjoyed the buffet.
After lunch, Barbara arrived. I said, “Hop in I’m going to the Library.”
We drove over to the Library
and she helped me park.
Reading the info on the window.
We walked in the front door
and she took the steps.
I walked down the hall…
…and took the elevator.
She beat me to the top.
I’m amazed at how vibrant this library is post COVID.
As I walked along the stacks
she looked through at me.
That look of understanding me, almost playful.
Later I found her reading an
Issue of Rolling Stone.
I broke her concentration,
for a moment.
Elizabeth often mentions her grandmother’s house was near the Library.
Later, at Deep Roots in Greensboro she flagged me down.
